Dan Barnett

Daniel Barnett is a founding member of Horizon North Park Christian Fellowship since 1986. Started in the Home Fellowship while serving in United States Navy. His Background is in Nuclear Power and Mechanical Sytems; Businesses in Video and Audio Production,  Electronic Security Systems. Currently employed as Security Solutions Devoloper Sales Assistant. Certificates of Completion in Biblical Studies and Biblical Counseling from School of Evangelism at Horizon Christian Fellowship. Ordained by Horizon North Park Christian Fellowship in 1994.

Serving the body of Horizon North Park Christian Fellowship nearly 40 years. His primary gifts are that of Helping and Encouragement. He has a love for Missions and instrumental in establishing Missions Guidlines for Horizon North Park Christian Fellowship with guidance from Neal Pirolo and assistance from Byron Barrett. His technical skills are used around the church and helping those in the body of Horizon North Park Christian Fellowship. Over the years he has taught Sunday School, headed the Youth Group, headed up or partnered several Missions trips, and mentored. You can usually find Pastor Dan sitting in the sound booth on Sunday mornings and ocassionally teaches.

Dan was raised in a Catholic home; his father and mother divorced when he was a child. He has experienced the "hard knocks" of life but the Love of Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit wooed him as a child and eventually brought him to the Lords feet as an adult. There is nothing that can separate him from the Love of God. Those who are forgiven much love much. He has been married to Terri for 36 years with two Sons Robert, living and working in San Diego; and Cacey, living and working in Japan.
